The aim of this workshop is to inquire the musicality within our movement.
How do we listen to our own music?
Where does the musicality of our movement come from?
How do we read the inner and outer music at the same time?
And how can we connect to the music of the very moment and enjoy?
General material will come from Traditional Korean Dance and Music, which is based
on musical connections in different layers at the same time: body and mind, mind and
soul, soul and body, body and breath, breath and rhythm, rhythm and music, music and
movement, movement and soul, soul and soul…
All becomes one. This state of being connected establishes the authenticity of the
performer. It evokes a sensation of meaningfulness and truth within the happening,
which attracts the attention of the audience.

We begin the course with certain tools to sensitize the perception of our body and
movement. After that we look for the musicality of our selves, sharpen our awareness
for the very moment, clear up our body movement and start to play with these
elements. We will begin to compose while improvising individually or moving in a
group.

This Workshop is suitable for movers and dancers.
